Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I would first like to say thank you to all of you devout readers of LL for making the site so much fun to write for! You guys/gals are what make this whole thing so much fun and I appreciate your readership. For those of who you participate in the comments, your feedback and thoughts are always fun to see as well. Keep on keepin' on.

There's been quite a bit of happenings in the past few days, so let's see what we can find to give you some light reading in preparation for a big day:

  • The Mariners are reportedly likely to trade Mark Trumbo this offseason.
  • Danny Hultzen has cleared waivers and been outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma.
  • Jeff Sullivan tries to figure out how to fix James Paxton.
  • Bud Black has been hired as a special assistant to the Angels' GM.
  • The Angels have inked catcher Geovany Soto to a one-year contract.
  • The A's have re-acquired infielder Jed Lowrie in a trade with the Astros.
  • The White Sox have signed catcher Alex Avila to a one-year deal.
  • The Braves agreed to a one-year deal with starter Bud Norris.
  • In a somewhat odd turn of events, Korean outfielder Ah-Seop Son didn't receive any bids during his attempted posting.
  • Third baseman Jae-Gyun Hwang will be posted since Son didn't receive a winning bid.
  • Japanese starter Kenta Maeda has requested to be posted.
  • Eno Sarris wonders what kind of money Maeda could garner from teams.
  • Tim Lincecum will showcase for MLB clubs in January.
  • Owen Watson takes a look at the unlikely rise of Josh Donaldson to stardom.
  • Gabe Kapler wrote a nice handwritten note to new Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
  • The White Sox made a minor trade, acquiring pitcher Tommy Kahnle from the Rockies.
  • The Rockies also dealt reliever Rex Brothers to the Cubs.
  • The Pirates acquired pitcher Allen Webster from the Diamondbacks.
