10/4: Game 162 thread

One last hurrah before The Big Sleep.

Well, we made it. You made it. Congratulations.

Sadly, we know now that they didn't. Jack Zduriencik. Austin Jackson. Nelson Cruz. Well, Cruz is fine, he's just not playing today, but you know what I'm trying to say here, come on, just pretend this is all really profound and meaningful.

But rather than dwell on it all--because let's be honest, starting at 4 pm today we will have a whole hell of a lot of time to do just that--let's just pretend this one counts. That it matters. That you'll be drinking day beers with us in The Pen, or that you'll be taking up that familiar ass crater on your couch with the rest of us, by proxy. That we get to watch the Mariners play one last baseball game before jumping ship for our requisite bandwagon teams before the Great Dark.

Goms.
