Coming into the League Championship Series my personal pecking order for matchups would have been:
1. Blue Jays/Cubs
2. Blue Jays/Mets
3. Royals/Cubs
4. Royals/Mets
So we are, perhaps appropriately for a season where so much went wrong for the team I root for, on the brink of my own personal worst case scenario. I suppose it isn't so bad. The Royals are fine. The Mets are cool-ish. The Cubs and Jays are just better, per science. More importantly this could be the very last day of 2015 with more than one baseball game in it. I hope you get a chance to watch it, and enjoy it.
