10/13: Open playoff thread

We have two elimination games on the docket today, ladies and gentlemen, which should hopefully make for some exciting baseball. Will the Cardinals and/or the Dodgers find a way to win, so they can return to their home ballparks for one last shot at continued glory? Or will they enter the off-season filled with shame and remorse? Exactly how hard will Chase Utley be booed? Will Yoenis Cespedes smash a dinger 500 feet tonight? How much will the Cards miss Yadier Molina? Can Joe Maddon continue to guide the Cubbies towards that illusive World Series title?

So many questions!
