The Mariners will look to bounce back from last night's harrowing stunning nail-biting underwhelming let down of a game by sending Chris Young out to face the Orioles. Opposite our favorite slow-throwing goliath will be Bud Norris, who has only pitched in 16 games this year after dealing with some injuries here and there. Norris has certainly played a role in the Orioles' successful 2014, and has managed to do it all with an xFIP of 4.34, K/9 of 6.45, which are career worsts. Still, he is only two wins away from his 2013 total, which boy, interesting what happens when you leave the Astros.
Today is an odd Saturday afternoon game, so turn on that radio and enjoy the nice weather while you listen to the M's try and put something together. This weekend is pretty damn important for the rest of the season, and if they can't win one of these next two games, you have to wonder what--or who--will pass each other through the clubhouse door next Thursday.
Enough of that. Go M's.
