Erasmo Ramirez vs. David Price

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Time to see if the Mariners can steal another one.

Looking back over this road trip, getting through the terrible start from Erasmo Ramirez in Atlanta with a win was huge as to how this successful road trip has played out. Ramirez left meatballs all over the heart of the plate last week, and today he'll only have the benefit of the oft-offensive depressing tendencies of the getaway game to keep him in the mix for a win.

The Mariners have a chance to end their road trip at 6-1, but they'll have to do it against David Price. Price has struggled a lot this year, but it's mostly due to bad luck. Price's xFIP of 2.73 is a career best, he's striking out more batters than ever and walking less than ever. He's been prone to the long ball and a .332 BABIP, but Price's dominance is ready to start at any time now. If the Mariners can beat Price with Erasmo in a getaway game, I may start pre-buying World Series tickets.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEEEEE
