The Mariners look to bounce back from whatever the hell last night was with a little lineup shakeup behind the king on the mound. Brad is getting the day off, replaced by Willie Ballgame pencilled in at the top of the order. So does Jones, who is replaced by Condor, batting second. Nothing like a one-hit shutout to make you want to mix things up a bit.
Speaking of Felix, the race to the top of the ERA standings in the AL is a close one--and he's biting at the heels of Masahiro Tanaka. After last night's loss to the Red Sox, Tanaka is at 2.10, with the King right behind at 2.24. I know, I know, who gives a shit. But it would be nice to see a little traction before the All-Star Game, which I think we all know is going to be started by Tanaka despite hoping for Felix leads in each statistical category but hey a kid can dream can't he?
It's hopefully win 44 this afternoon. Go M's.
