Roenis Elias vs Josh Tomlin

Otto Greule Jr

Tonight the Mariners will look to get their 44th win of the season against the Indians' right hander Josh Tomlin, who has gone 4-5 this season in 9 games. I know this narrative has been beaten to death, but I never really know what to write in Game Threads, so I'm just going to just list some nice things about the Mariners.

Today, the Mariners could get their 44th win of the season. It's June 28th. Here are the previous dates when the Mariners reached win 44:

2013: July 19

2012: July 26

2011: July 27

2010: August 10

2009: July 9

2008: August 5

Weeeeeee this is fun! Alright enough of that.

The Mariners will be trotting out the exact same lineup as last night, which, well, it worked so whatever. Here's to hoping Elias can work more of his magic at get to that 44th win of the year.

Today's Lineups

CLEVELAND INDIANS SEATTLE MARINERS

A. Cabrera - SS James Jones - CF
