In case you've been anywhere but glued to ROOT Sports for the last two nights, the Mariners are in line for back-to-back sweeps for the first time since July 2013. Red Sox right-hander Clay Buchholz has been recalled from Triple-A to supplement an increasingly overcrowded rotation. The 29-year-old is 2-4 in 10 games, with 75 hits, 24 walks, and 39 strikeouts in 50 innings. He hasn't pitched for the big league club since May 26, when he was put on the DL with a hyper-extended left knee. During his rehab stint in Pawtucket, Buchholz only made two appearances, allowing six hits, two walks, and striking out 10 batters in 10 2/3 innings.
