Today Felix and the M's head south to San Diego to take on the Padres. You know what that means:
Today the M's will try their luck against Padres' right hander Andrew Cashner, who has been following up his career 2013 season with a pretty great year. You again have to feel bad for Padres fans here--Cashner is by no means a dominant all-time ace, but his 2.69 FIP and 53% groundball percentage kind of betray his 2-6 record on the year. Stop me if you've heard this story before.
To face Cashner, Lloyd is sending out Endy in the leadoff spot (ugh) and then a lineup that actually looks pretty great. Gametime is at 7:10, and here's to another winning streak continuing into the summer.
