Felix Hernandez vs. Franklin Morales.

Ezra Shaw

Happy Felix Day! Corey Hart is back in the lineup, batting clean-up and playing first base while Justin Smoak and Logan Morrison warm the bench. Robinson Cano also has the day off, leaving 21-year-old Jack Reinheimer in his place as the M's go for their fourth consecutive win.

Last Sunday, Felix tweaked his change-up and lasted 2 1/3 innings against the Texas Rangers, walking one batter and striking out four. Despite his personal improvements, it took the Mariners half of the 'pen and a last-minute comeback to pull off a win, 9-8. The real question tonight won't be whether or not Felix's arsenal is effective against the Colorado Rockies, but whether the Mariners will give their King any run support to fall back on.
