3/13/14: Open game thread

This week, the Mariners have crafted a comeback in three of three wins. I don't know who told them that there's a prize for winning the most Cactus League games, but it sure would be nice to capitalize on this momentum heading into the regular season.

Nick Franklin is taking his hacks at shortstop this afternoon, while Endy Chavez vies for a shot at the leadoff spot. On the mound, Blake Beavan is slated for his third start of the spring against fellow right-hander Archie Bradley -- who, despite what Baseball Press tells me, is not Pedro Martinez.
