Jason Vargas vs. Erasmo Ramirez

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Hey, it's Jason Vargas at Safeco Field! The Angels recently placed the soon-to-be free agent on trade waivers, but nothing's happened because nothing usually happens. Vargas is doing what he usually does, and while his control hasn't been as good and his hits are up, the peripherals are pretty much unchanged. Jason Vargas should find himself a nice little multi-year deal this offseason, and might even get a pitching hungry team to overpay for him. Good for him. He's a nice 2 win player, and and should get paid accordingly.
