As you may have noticed, Kendrys Morales is starting in the field for the first time this season. It's a gentle reminder that Justin Smoak won't be penciled into the lineup every day if he doesn't produce and that, unlike last season, there are decent contingency options if he doesn't hit.

Also, credit Eric Wedge for putting his best outfield defense behind Blake Beavan. The right-hander has one of the lowest ground ball rates in the league, so props to the skipper for his alignment.
