There will be so much more on this deal today. For now we are living in a brave (and possibly foolish) new world. The Seattle Mariners are signing Robinson Cano, a premium (some would say THE premium) free agent. Robinson Cano has spent his entire career as a Yankee. He is in his prime. New York wanted to retain him. The world we knew is crumpled in the corner and a new one is being feverishly concocted on the drafting table. Change is exhilarating, it is terrifying.
