According to Buster Olney, before the Mariners traded Ichiro to the Yankees, they nearly traded him to the Giants and White Sox. Would one of those teams have sent back a valuable return package? No. So okay.

No TV broadcast means I think I'm just going to take this Saturday for myself and pay the Mariners little attention. Congratulations to Randy Johnson on making the Mariners Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Dan Wilson on making the Mariners Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Randy Johnson on having been one of the most dominant, intimidating starting pitchers in the history of the universe. Congratulations to Dan Wilson on having been a neat catcher and guy. Yay Mariners history! In history, the Mariners were good sometimes!
