I've always kind of assumed that Billingsley is one of baseball's better second-tier young starters, but since 2009 he has a 98 ERA+ and a oh I get it, he's one of them strange ERA/FIP differential cases. The key to hitting Chad Billingsley is to swing at pitches in the strike zone and make solid contact. If the Mariners can do that then they should be peaches, against everyone.
