Mariners, Rockies, Baseball!

I have literally no time to write this game thread post before I need to head out the door. No time, literally. So these words that I'm writing I am writing without taking up time. I am that fast of a writer. I remember when I used to take computer typing lessons when I was a very small boy. Look what the lessons did for me, mother! I am now capable of typing an incredible infinity words per minute! If somebody were to look at me right now, that person would not see me typing, because I am typing in between moments.

Okay, that's one paragraph in. At 1:10pm PDT, the Seattle Mariners play the Colorado Rockies again. At first I thought it was weird that the Mariners were playing the Rockies, then the Rockies, then the Rockies, but then I remembered that this is baseball and baseball is the sport with series in it. Granted, it's still preseason baseball, and series are less common in preseason baseball, but then this isn't truly preseason baseball for the Seattle Mariners, now is it? This is intra-season baseball!

Here's a Gameday link for the action. On radio, on TV, on Gameday, obviously. A starting lineup:

Kawasaki, SS
Ackley, 2B
Seager, 3B
Olivo, C
Saunders, CF
Liddi, 1B
Peguero, RF
Wells, LF
Jaso, DH

That is a starting lineup, and that is also the starting lineup, today. What a coincidence! Dustin Ackley's back from being ill. He gets to watch Miguel Olivo, Michael Saunders, Alex Liddi, and Carlos Peguero bat back-to-back-to-back-to-back. The Seattle Mariners are trying to make Dustin Ackley ill again.

Starting for the Mariners will be Erasmo Ramirez. He'll go opposite Juan Nicasio, who has been through more in the past year than you have. Unless you've had a really tough year, in which case, nuts to you, Juan Nicasio, you're not that special. All right, post done in a matter of minutes. I mean, in a matter of zero minutes and zero seconds. Whew, almost blew it! Away I go!
