Despite the unfortunate end met by their six fallen brothers earlier today, the Mariners will press on and challenge the Athletics to a baseball game this afternoon. Hearts are heavy, but not as heavy as BLAKE BEAVAN'S MOTHERFUCKIN FASTBALL MOTHERFUCKERS

Felix Hernandez, as we've talked about, throws a B game today because the M's don't want to overexpose him to a division rival. Apparently they're not as concerned about overexposing most of their everyday position players, and the same goes for Oakland in the other direction. The more and more I think about it, the less and less I buy that overexposure is a legitimate worry. Besides, sometimes overexposure can be beautiful.
Available to pitch behind Beavan will be Luke French, Brandon League, Jamey Wright, Tom Wilhelmsen, Justin Miller, and Dan Cortes, with Cortes looking to fill the Yusmeiro Petit Honorary Never-Gonna-Pitch-Today spot at the back. Available to pitch behind Moscoso will be Bobby Cramer, Fautino de los Santos, Daniel Farquhar, and Trystan Magnuson. Trystan. That's another girl's name. Are there women playing baseball now and I just never noticed?
Fautino de los Santos makes me think about Pompeii's House of the Faun, which is appropriate since Fautino de los Santos is gonna get FUCKIN RUINED
No TV, but this game'll be on 710. And here's your Gameday link.
