Not too long ago Jarrod Washburn was in the middle of a "breakthrough season." Now his xFIP is pretty much exactly what it was in 2006, 2005, and 2004. That was neat while it lasted.
If you look at Roy Oswalt's pitch data, he's also been the exact same pitcher for three years. The exact same really good, totally awesome pitcher who we have to somehow overcome if we want to avoid an embarrassing sweep. Fun morning.
