While I would've preferred that JJ Putz (who has the best grimaces of anyone I've ever seen) not throw a fastball on the inner half to Gary Matthews to tie up the game, nothing in baseball compares to the feeling of a walk-off win. Everyone's all smiles, the fans go nuts, the players celebrate on the infield, and in an instant all the prior mistakes are forgotten in a wave of euphoria. JJ made a bad pitch? Yuniesky Betancourt hit into two double plays? The offense couldn't do anything against one of the worst pitchers in the league? Who cares? In the end, Jose Lopez hit a ball hard and came away grinning, which is one of the most perfect ways to end a game imaginable.

Fun day tomorrow, with the Seahawks and Felix going back-to-back. A sweep brings us within two games of the Rangers, and really, third place wouldn't be so bad.
