Haren (8-9, 3.72) Pineiro (7-8, 5.62)
I can't think of anything to say, so I'll just mention that, using their season stats and the table of run values from The Hardball Times 2006 Baseball Annual, the difference between Dan Haren and Joel Pineiro so far has been about 28 runs. That's actually a lot less than I expected, but it turns out that Haren's exceeding his fielding-independent numbers by a fair margin this year, whereas Pineiro's sort of getting the shaft.
Even so, God, this matchup looks awful.
LET'S GO MARINERS!
