Weaver (4-0, 1.37) Hernandez (8-7, 4.92)
On the season, Jered Weaver has an absolutely dominant 115/14 K/BB ratio in 103.1 innings of work between AAA and the Majors. However, working against him tonight are two things - Seattle's unmistakable ownership of all things Angel, and an extreme propensity to allow fly balls (0.39 GB/FB in his four big league starts). He's a phenomenal young beanpole who's going to be a thorn in our vastly superior asses for years to come, but he's vulnerable, so don't get blinded by the ERA. On a completely separate note, for the sake of saving time it might be easier to compose a list of Anaheim pitchers who don't look like they're trippin' balls.
LET'S GO MARINERS!
