For the next week I'll be busy in the Tacoma area (hope to see you at LL Night!) and probably unable to post much more than the WE chart after each game. You know what that means - a whole seven days of You Write The Recap! That's right, for a limited time only, you get to do my work for me. Anything that stood out, anything you think is worth exploring in greater detail, anything you found funny, post it in the comments or diary section to get feedback from some and keep the others up to speed.
After tonight, the Mariners are closer to Texas than Anaheim, and they've got another six games against lousy Baltimore and Minnesota squads before an important face-off with the Rangers in Arlington. For the first time in what seems like forever, baseball is making me genuinely happy again.
Joel Pineiro is pitching against John Halama tomorrow night at 7:05pm. John Halama. I don't think the rest of the AL is even trying anymore.
