I missed the entire game tonight - and, by all indications, I should be thankful for that - so I'm leaving this one in the hands of those of you who were able to tune in. Yes, it's Lookout Landing's first You Write The Recap! of 2006. Don't let us down. What'd you notice on the field? What'd you notice in the broadcast booth? Which plays stood out to you as being particularly memorable? Let's hear it.

Biggest Contribution: Richie Sexson, +5.3%
Biggest Suckfest: Jamie Moyer, -28.8%
Most Important "Hit": Johjima DP, -5.5%
Most Important Pitch: Scutaro "single", -8.2%
Total Contribution by Pitcher(s): -28.6%
Total Contribution by Hitters: -22.0%

(What is this?)

(Scutaro "single" refers to the groundball up the middle that glanced off the mound and then Lopez's glove in the second inning. Lopez was charged with an error, but going over it real quick on MLB.tv, I disagree with that. I don't think Jose could've made a play.)

Tomorrow's a day game, with Joel Pineiro opposing Kirk Saarloos at 12:35pm. The early start time means I'm going to miss two Mariners games in less than 24 hours, although I think I might come home from work and and watch the archived MLB.tv footage as if it were live without letting myself check the final score. Hopefully I don't trick myself so much that I start posting in the open thread while watching, since that'd be, y'know, really stupid.
