SBN Rookies Of The Year

We had all of our bloggers submit their votes after the season ended (AL guys doing AL players, NL guys doing NL players, no crossover), with the following results:

If memory serves, I had mine ranked Liriano/Verlander/Papelbon.

This was an unusually strong season for first-year players. Kenji Johjima was an everyday catcher who put up a translated .821 OPS and you never even hear him mentioned for consideration. If ever there was a year that debunked the importance and value of veteran experience, this was it.
