Seriously, there's only so much you can write when you've got a splitting headache. It was bad enough already, but in retrospect, I probably shouldn't have made so much noise when Sexson's ball cleared the fence. Let me tell you, that's a mistake you don't make twice.
Biggest Contribution: Richie Sexson, +40.6%
Biggest Suckfest: Ramon Santiago^, -19.5%
Most Important Hit: Sexson grand slam, +52.1%
Most Important Pitch: Johnson groundout, +15.2%
Total Contribution by Pitcher(s): +20.6%
Total Contribution by Hitters: +25.5%
^-all Santiago did at the plate was drop down a sac bunt, but he made an error on a ball in the ninth that should've been a game-ending double play. But hey, he can pick it up and throw it with the best of them.
Obviously, I'm in no condition to write, so I'll just say this: a week ago, I called out Yuniesky Betancourt for his .552 OPS over a month and a half. In the seven games since, he's gone 14-27 with four doubles and a triple. At .263/.287/.383, the guy is Deivi Cruz. Like, on the nose. Only Betancourt knows how to catch, and stuff. And really, can a sure-handed Deivi Cruz really be considered that big of a liability? Oh, how our tunes can change in so little time.
Jeff Harris and Josh Towers tomorrow, same start time.
