Nashville put an end to Tacoma's season, 5-2. It was fun, but now it's over. Nashville will take the PCL championship after an impressive three game sweep over the Rainiers. Like the rest of the games in this series, the Rainiers had their chances to win it. After falling behind 2-0, Tacoma rallied back in the seventh and tied it up via a T.J. Bohn two-RBI double into center but that was the extent of the offense. After Moss (who didn't do a bad job) was yanked, Rohn played his usual game of musical pitchers. Fruto was first, followed by Heaverlo, then Green, some Lorraine, and finish with a bit of Baek. In the thirteenth, Lorraine put two guys on via an error and walk and was pulled in favor of Baek who was to face Nelson Cruz. Cruz saw the advantage and put Baek's "fastball" over the left field wall. The Rainiers went quietly in the bottom half and now we get to wait seven months for another game in Cheney.

Wisconsin isn't going to go quietly as they win Game Four, 11-6. It helps a lot when you open up the game with six runs by the end of the second inning. The offense finally came alive in this one as everyone in the lineup not named Thomas Hubbard managed a hit. Mike Wilson led the way with three baseknocks including a homer and a double. Jeff Clement, Oswaldo Navarro, Matt Tuiasosopo and Brandon Green also all had extra-base hits to help get the T-Rats back into this series. Shawn Nottingham was peppered with hits (eleven in 6.2 innings) but it didn't matter as he allowed only four runs and got the win. Pressure-packed Game Five today in Appleton.
