Omaha shut out Tacoma, 6-0. Danny Tamayo had a field day with Rainier hitters all night as he limited Tacoma to just two hits and a walk while fanning nine. He was perfect into the seventh. It didn't leave much chance for Bobby Livingston, who eventually collapsed in the fourth and fifth innings. Livingston finished only going 4.1 innings giving up six runs (only three earned) on seven hits while walking one and striking out five. He's tossed up a 5.12 ERA and 16:8 K/BB since coming up, we're not seeing the real Livingston yet.
Notables:
Bobby Livingston: 4.1 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K.
Clint Nageotte: 2.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K.
Jamal Strong: 1-4.
Greg Dobbs: 1-4.
And that was it...seriously.
San Antonio overpowered Midland, 8-4. By the way Juan Sandoval was pitching, it looked like Midland was going to chip their way to an easy win, but then came the fifth inning:
Brian Moon pops out to third baseman Adam Morrissey in foul territory.
Ismael Castro singles on a line drive to left fielder Brian Stavisky. Adam Jones to 2nd.
Jaime Bubela triples (5) on a fly ball to right fielder Andre Ethier. Adam Jones scores. Ismael Castro scores.
Jesus Guzman singles on a line drive to right fielder Andre Ethier. Jaime Bubela scores.
With T. J. BohnJr. batting, Jesus Guzman steals (6) 2nd base.
Pitcher Change: Shawn Kohn replaces Jason Windsor.
T. J. BohnJr. singles on a line drive to center fielder Steve Stanley. Jesus Guzman scores.
Nathan Espy singles on a line drive to right fielder Andre Ethier. T. J. BohnJr. to 3rd.
Jesse Hoorelbeke out on a sacrifice fly to center fielder Steve Stanley. T. BohnJr. scores.
With Gary Harris batting, Nathan Espy caught stealing 2nd base, catcher Jeremy Brown to shortstop Mark Kiger.
Sandoval is effectively bailed out despite a lousy performance and the Mission numbers look gaudier. Everybody wins! Especially Ismael Castro who had by far his best game of the season.

Juan Sandoval: 6.0 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 4 K, 1 HR.
Jamie Bubela: 3-4, 1 3B, 1 BB, 2 RBI.
Jesus Guzman: 1-5, 1 RBI.
T.J. Bohn: 2-4, 2 RBI.
Nate Espy: 2-3, 1 BB.
Adam Jones: 1-4.
Ismael Castro: 4-4, 1 HR, 2 RBI.
Inland Empire blew out Lancaster, 10-1. The 66'ers quickly jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first and never looked back as Chad Fillinger was on. Fillinger, who's been knocked around a bit at the High-A level, finally turned in a performance everyone knew he was capable of. Fillinger finished going eight strong innings scattering five hits and a run (not earned) while walking no one and striking out six. The 66'er batters didn't have much trouble teeing off on Garrett Mock and every other pitcher Lancaster threw their way. Bryan Lahair gets the gameball as he hit not one, not two, but THREE(3!) homeruns before the night was out, netting him five RBI. Trying not to be outdone, Wladimir Balentien knocked two out of the park and Asdrubal Cabrera chimed in with four hits.
Notables:
Chad Fillinger: 8.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K.
Sebastien Boucher: 2-5, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 RBI.
Little Garciaparra: 1-4, 1 BB.
Bryan Lahair: 3-5, 3 HR, 5 RBI. (Jeez.)
Wladimir Balentien: 3-5, 1 2B, 2 HR, 2 RBI. (Golly.)
Matt Rogelstad: 1-5, 1 2B.
Asdrubal Cabrera: 4-5.
Wisconsin got by Burlington, 6-4. Despite yet another disastrous start by Randy Abrams-Frye (1.0 IP, 3 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 0 K), the T-Rat offense was able to rally in the sixth and eighth innings to come away with the victory. Cibney Bello was the savior out of the pen as he stuck around for five innings allowing just one hit and fanning six, but walking five in the process. Jon Lockwood also got some work and finally flashed whatever it was we saw in Everett. The top of the order didn't produce a thing all night (0-18), but the 5-9 got the job done as each managed a basehit and Omar Falcon homered.
Notables:
Randy Abrams-Frye: 1.0 IP, 3 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 0 K.
Cibney Bello: 5.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 5 BB, 6 K.
Jon Lockwood: 3.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K.
1-4: 0-18.
Thomas Hubbard: 1-4.
Yung Chi Chen: 2-4, 1 2B.
Matt Tuiasosopo: 1-3.
Omar Falcon: 1-2, 1 HR, 2 BB, 1 RBI.
Josh Womack: 2-2, 1 BB, 2 RBI.
