Just a quick wrap-up today.
Tacoma jumped on Portland early and never looked back, 8-3. Capped by a two-run Wiki Gonzalez double, the Rainiers went up big in the third with a five run frame. The offense added two more in the fourth and another in the fifth to put the game completely out of reach for the Beavers. Jeff Harris was sharp once again as he allowed a couple runs in six innings of work.

High Desert squeaked by Inland Empire, 5-4. Greg Wear blew the lead and Troy Cate blew the game as the 66'ers saw a late 4-2 lead turn into dust and a loss. Brandon Moorhead got the start but didn't last long as he was pulled after only an inning and two-thirds (injury?). The offense didn't do much after the fourth inning as Matt Rogelstad had the only multi-hit game.

Beloit got by Wisconsin, 7-5. Julio Santiago got the start and went a mediocre minimum. Ridiculous All-Star selection Cibney Bello came in next and allowed four runs on six hits in only 1.2 innings thus losing the game for the T-Rats. Josh Womack had a nice day at the dish as he went 4-4 and Yung Chi Chen also chipped in with a pair of hits.

Everett handled Boise, 7-1. Justin Thomas put together a pretty good start as he went the minimum and picked up the win. The Everett offense finally had a field day at the plate as six Aquasox had multi-hit games with J.B. Tucker smacking three.
