The fireworks were delayed as Colorado Springs took care of Tacoma in extras, 11-9 (12). Needless to say, the starting pitching wasn't real sharp in this one. Cha Seung Baek somehow managed to stay on the mound for five innings, but in those five gave up six runs on ten hits while walking two, fanning two and giving up a round-tripper. Jared Thomas eventualy got tagged with the loss as he gave up back-to-back jacks in the 12th to Ryan Spilborghs and Ryan Shealy (just why does that sound so familiar?). Fun fact: Only Tacoma pitcher to NOT give up a run in this game? Jeff Heaverlo. Believe dat. You would think that without Snelling, Lopez and Anti-Sandfrog around the offense may faulter a bit, but that wasn't the case as the Rainiers went run for run with the Sky Sox until late. Wiki Gonzalez and Justin Leone led the way as both had homers and Jamal Strong chipped in with two hits of his own.

San Antonio held off Frisco, 3-2. And sometimes it just all clicks. Jon Huber was excellent in his 15th start of the season as he went seven innings of one-run ball scattering six hits and three walks while striking out four. San Antonio had all their offense come in the first as the Missions singled and sacrificed (no XBH's) thier way to a victory.
Notables:
Jon Huber: 7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 K.
Jamie Bubela: 1-4.
Adam Jones: 2-3, 1 BB.
T.J. Bohn: 3-4.
Gary Harris: 2-4.
Ismael Castro: 1-4.
Inland Empire handled Bakersfield, 6-2. Ryan Feierabend had one of his better starts of the season despite not staying in very long. Feierabend went the minimum and shut out the Blaze while allowing five hits and a trio of walks. He struck out four but allowed a couple of doubles. The 66'er offense jumped on Chris Jaile early was was about to tag him for five runs (three earned) in his time. Asdrubal Cabrera led all hitters with three baseknocks including a triple and Carlos Arroyo helped out with a pair of hits and a two RBI.
Notables:
Ryan Feierabend: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K.
Sebastien Boucher: 2-3, 2 BB.
Asdrubal Cabrera: 3-5, 1 3B.

Fort Wayne beat Wisconsin, 8-3. Maybe Randy Frye is just a bit more overmatched than we thought. After all, it's not like Wisconsin needs another Casey Abrams, and that's who Frye is beginning to mimic real well as his K/BB has fallen into the death zone (13:15) and he's just not getting guys out. Frye was terrible in his start as he went the minimum giving up seven runs (five earned) on nine hits while walking one, striking out two and tossing up a homer. The T-Rat offense couldn't really get a whole lot going after watching the Wizards open up a 8-2 lead after the fifth. Three Wisconsin players had multi-hit nights including Brandon Green, Mike Wilson and Omar Falcon. Josh Womack homered for Wisconsin's only XBH.
Notables:
Randy "Abe" Frye: 5.0 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 HR.
Josh Womack: 1-5, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
Yung Chi Chen: 1-5.
Brandon Green: 2-4.
Mike Wilson: 2-3.
Matt Tuiasosopo: 0-4.
Omar Falcon: 2-4, 2 RBI.
Everett fell to Vancouver, 6-3. Eric Carter didn't last long as he went only three innings giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits while walking four and striking out one. Jon Lockwood came in for Carter and continued to be lights-out as he didn't allow anyone to cross the plate in his three innings and struck out three. The big blow came in the bottom of the ninth when the A-Sox and Canadians were tied at three:
