Tacoma had the night off, but return to Cheney tonight with Jeff Harris taking the mound.
Arkansas squeaked past San Antonio, 3-2. Livingston (my favorite M's minor league pitcher not named Felix) was out dueled by Steven Shell. Livingston lasted seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out four. Livingston and the Missions were up 2-0 heading into the seventh when a pair of singles and a wild pitch allowed all three runs to score. The Missions line-up was held in check by the Arkansas pitching, with Eriberto Menchaca the only Mission to collect two hits.
Bobby Livingston: 7.0 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
Eriberto Menchaca: 2-3, 1 2B
Jaime Bubela: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 BB
T.J. Bohn: 1-3, 1 RBI
Nathan Espy: 1-3, 1 RBI, 2 K
Adam Jones: 0-3, 1 K
Quad Cities jumped all over Wisconsin early and never looked back, 9-3. Aaron Jensen was bad last night, coughing up 4 singles, 2 walks and a throwing the ball away in a pick-off attempt, allowing seven runs to score all in the seventh inning. The bullpen held Quad Cities scoreless the rest of the game, but the damage had already been done. Mike Wilson's two run homerun and Matt Tuiasosopo's RBI single were the only runs that Wisconsin could muster in the rout.
Aaron Jensen: 2.2 IP, 7 H, 9 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, 2 HR.
Matt Tuiasosopo: 2-4, 1 RBI, 1 K.
Mike Wilson: 1-4, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, 1 K.
Thomas Hubbard: 1-3, 1 BB.
Oswaldo Navarro: 0-4.
Yung Chi Chen: 0-4, 1 K.
Everett out slugged Spokane, 9-5. Everett's offense was in full throttle last night, hit three homeruns, two doubles and walking six times. Nicholas Allen lasted 5 innings, giving up 10(!) hits but managed to only allow 4 ER while walking one and striking out 2. Jon Lockwood relieved Allen and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out five. Jeff Flaig was the offensive hero, going 3-5 with a homerun and 3 RBI's. Trevor Heid and J.B. Tucker (3 BB) added homeruns of their own.
Nick Allen: 5.0 IP, 10 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 2 K.
Jon Lockwood: 3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K.
Jeff Flaig: 3-5, 1 HR, 3 RBI.
Trevor Heid: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
Casey Craig: 1-3, 3 R, 2 BB, 1 K.
J.B. Tucker: 1-3, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 3 BB.
Daniel Santin: 1-5, 1 2B. But how about smiling? Is he missing his front teeth? Did someone just tell him his ears stick out from his head?
