Nashville outlasted Tacoma in a soggy marathon, 9-5 (14). At 3:30pm it looked like this game was going to be washed out. At about 7pm it was delayed, and finally at 10:25pm it was over after 14 long, wet innings. Tacoma saw six pitchers get work in this one as Andrew Lorraine didn't last long going only three innings giving up four hits and four runs (three earned) while walking three and fanning two. The next eleven innings saw performances from Tim Rall, Jared Thomas, George Sherrill, Masao Kida and finally the back-breaking outing by Chris Buglovsky. Buglovsky entered the 14th inning and did more than just blow the tie:
Julio Mosquera singles on a ground ball to third baseman Hunter Brown. Chris Barnwell to 3rd.
Steve Scarborough walks. Julio Mosquera to 2nd.
Dave Krynzel strikes out swinging.
Rickie Weeks triples (7) on a sharp fly ball to center fielder Jamal Strong. Chris Barnwell scores. Julio Mosquera scores. Steve Scarborough scores.
Prince Fielder doubles (6) on a fly ball to right fielder Chris Snelling. Rickie Weeks scores.
Kevin Orie singles on a line drive to left fielder Shin-Soo Choo. Prince Fielder to 3rd.
Brad Nelson called out on strikes.
#Corey Hart grounds out, shortstop Mike Morse to first baseman Aaron Rifkin.
C'mon, Bug.
