Tacoma blanked Round Rock, 3-0. Felix Hernandez showed why he's the #1 pitching prospect in baseball tonight as he went seven shutout innings giving up only two hits while fanning eight. Masao Kida pitched a perfect eighth and George Sherill came in the ninth to pick up his sixth save of the season. The Tacoma batters managed to get on base 14 times (8 H, 6 BB, 1 E) and pushed three runs home. Ramon Santiago was the lone multi-hit collector and Aaron Rifkin smacked the team's only XBH.
