Injury Update

Bobby Madritsch is feeling better now than he did when he was yanked from Wednesday's game. If his shoulder pain continues to abate, he won't be put on the DL. He's not going to make his next start, though - that'll go to either Ryan Franklin, Cha Baek, or Jorge Campillo (who was solid in Tacoma's opener last night).

Clint Nageotte, who had an MRI two days ago, was diagnosed with a "strained forearm muscle" and will miss about a month. You have to wonder if the Mariners employ some kind of peculiar hazing ritual where pitchers have their arms tied to a bridge and are left to hang there until something hurts.
