Tacoma got by Salt Lake, 6-3. Rich Dorman went five innings and while not dominating, wasn't downright awful either. Much to everyone's shock, Masao Kida came in an pitched 2.2 scorless innings and George Sherill tossed a scoreless ninth to pick up his second save of the season. The 7-8-9 hitters all had multi-hit nights and Abraham Nunez hit a bomb and knocked in a few.

Notables:

Rich Dorman: 5.0 IP. 3 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 2 HR.
Chris Snelling: 0-3, 1 BB.
Abraham Nunez: 2-3, 1 HR, 1 BB, 2 RBI.
Justin Leone: 1-4, 1 2B.
Dave Hansen: 1-3, 1 BB.
Aaron Rifkin: 2-4, 1 HR, 3 RBI.
Mike Morse: 2-4.
Ramon Santiago: 2-4, 1 2B.

San Antonio and Arkansas will have to wait until Sunday to play Friday night's game as it was rained out. It will be made up as part of a double-header on Sunday at 5:10pm PDT.

Rancho Cucamonga silenced Inland Empire, 5-1. Ryan Feierabend really just wasn't on his game as he went six innings surrendering five runs on seven hits while striking out six. The bats were relatively tame with the exception of doubles by Adam Jones, Bryan Lahair and Erick Monzon. That one run scored by the 66'ers was unearned.

Notables:

Ryan Feierabend: 6.0 IP, 7 H, 5 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HR.
Matt Rogelstad: 1-3, 1 BB.
Adam Jones; 1-4, 1 2B.
Wladimir Balentien: 0-4.
Bryan Lahair: 1-4, 1 2B.
Erick Monzon: 1-4, 1 2B.

South Bend routed Wisconsin, 11-2. There is no easy, sugar-coated was to say this: Mark Lowe, you got your ass handed to you. Lowe lasted a whole 2.2 IP and in those two and two-third magical innings Lowe was touched up for nine runs (eight earned) on ten hits. At one point he was standing on the mound waiting around for the hidden cameras to expose themselves and Ashton Kutcher to come flailing out to tell him he'd been punk'd. The Timber Rattlers weren't a whole lot better on the offensive side as Wisconsin collected only six hits, two of which came from the bat of Thomas Hubbard.

Notables:

Mark Lowe: 2.2 IP, 10 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, 1 HR.
Oswaldo Navarro: 0-4.
Josh Womack: 1-4, 1 HR, 1 RBI.
Asdrubal Cabrera: 0-4.
Yung Chi Chen: 0-4.
Thomas Hubbard: 2-2, 1 3B, 1 BB, 1 RBI.
