Sacramento squeaked by Tacoma, 5-4. Jorge Campillo's ten punchouts weren't enough to stop the Rivercats as they rallied in the bottom of the ninth against George Sherrill to take home the victory. The Rainiers got things started early as they scored two in the first off John Rheinecker but failed to get much else going throughout the game with the exception of an extremely rare Ramon Santiago homerun.
