Minor League Wrap-Up: 4/9/05.

Tacoma shut out Fresno, 6-0. Cha-Seung Baek was perfect for 5.1 IP before Yamid Haad (AAA Name of the Year Award Finalist) broke the up the no-hitter with a single. Baek ended up going six innings and gave up only one hit while fanning six and not walking a soul. Abraham Nunez and Mike Morse both collected doubles on the night and Kit Pellow chipped in with two walks.

San Antonio blanked Corpus Christi, 4-0. Thomas Oldham picked up right where he left off last season as he went six innings surrendering only three hits and striking out four. The offense came late via an Ismael Castro double in the bottom of the seventh that broke up the deadlock. Jon Nelson, T.J. Bohn and Yuniesky Betancourt drove in a couple more runs for good measure.

Inland Empire fell to Bakersfield, 5-3. Michael Moorhead got the start but Austin Bilke wanted to lose as he gave up three runs in a third of an inning to hand the game to the Blaze. Michael Garciaparra and Erick Monzon both collected two hits in the losing effort.

Wisconsin clobbered Peoria, 9-4. Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as the offense lit it up. Jason Snyder went six innings for the win.
