As many of you have heard, John Sickels' February 1st Down on the Farm was his final column for ESPN; he was downsized, informed that the internet branch of the company wasn't making enough money (evidently, all they can afford is Buster Olney).
Well, thanks in no small part to the tireless efforts of Blez (from Athletics Nation) and several others, John agreed to join the growing sportsBLOGS community by launching Minor League Ball, an extension of his original site.
Sickels is a terrific resource for minor league player information and analysis, so we all look forward to seeing how his site develops.
Plus, he has a cat named Toonces.
