Johjima Deal Done

Per Yahoo! (and reader IcebreakerX):

SEATTLE (AP) -- Catcher Kenji Jojima and the Seattle Mariners agreed Monday to a $16.5 million, three-year contract.
...
"He's going to sign with Seattle. They're announcing it today," agent Alan Nero said. "They favorably impressed him."
...
Jojima's decision was first reported Monday by The Seattle Times. His deal allows him to earn an additional $2.5 million in performance bonuses over the three seasons.

So, he'll be getting anywhere between $5.5-6.3m per season. Presumably, he'll only trigger his incentives if he's kicking ass, which will make him more than worth the money.

Is there anyone out there who doesn't like this deal? Please, by all means, speak up.
