Ichiro CF Roberts 2B Vidro DH Patterson CF Guillen RF Markakis RF King Awesome 3B Millar 1B Ibanez Spasming Corpse Tejada SS Sexson 1B Huff DH Johjima C Mora 3B Lopez 2B Hernandez C Betancourt SS Payton LF ---------- ----------
Weaver (2-10, 6.32) Trachsel (5-7, 4.97)
In 20 starts, Steve Trachsel has a 0.70 K/BB ratio. The next-worst over the past three years? Steve Trachsel in 2006, at 1.01. Of the three things a pitcher needs to do to succeed - throw strikes, miss bats, and keep the ball down - he does exactly none of them well. He's also deathly slow. Say hello to the worst skillset in baseball.
LET'S GO MARINERS!!

Well
It always starts with "Damn this guy can't throw strikes, we're screwed." But I'm not too concerned.
That said the M's need to win about 15 of their next 20 for me too feel good (BAL, CWS, MIN, CWS, MIN, TEX). And figuring Ho is gonna start 5 of those I'm a tad worried.
See my post upstairs.
This is a more even matchup than it looks like in the standings, IMO.

We'd do even better if we'd play Adam Jones
.220/.367/.345 by lefties.
.325/.356/.506 by righties.
So naturally, McLaren lets Raul play instead.
Congratulations to Broussard!
That makes me so happ......err....wait a minute.....no Broussard in the lineup today? That means.....
- I. Suzuki, CF
- J. Vidro, DH
- J. Guillen, RF
- A. Beltre, 3B
- R. Ibanez, LF
- K. Johjima, C
- J. Lopez, 2B
- Y. Betancourt, SS
Awwww shitballs
I was trying to keep my blinders on to 2006
With Kenji heating up
(.000/.000/.000). Why wouldn't you have him bat 5th?
Brett Myers anyone?
Oh.
Besides
Should've kicked his ass all over the place.
Well he was pretty decent
I would take Myers in a heartbeat.
I'm so glad that hack Adam Jones
Wait, Adam Jones is the bald one with the soul patch, right?

Your recap is so quotable
I like this one best for this comment. I remember watching games where Trachsel and Suppan would lock horns (I'm a Cardinals fan, forgive me) and time seemed to go in reverse.
Didn't they come up with a rule in the offseason
Ok, how many runs do we get here?
Way to punch a crappy pitch into a DP
Good to have you back online Jeff,
Fanfuckingtastic.
Yea
They must have just rememberd that Jeff Weaver was on the mound. Guess offense is saving those runs for tomorrow.
That was so much more frustrating to watch

These guys are profound.
So anyone ever have Absolut Vodka?
Tastes like Vodka.
It's fine for mixers, basically.
Good Strong Bloody Mary:
1 part Vodka
2 parts V8
Bit of Tabasco
Bit of Worcheshire
Dollop of horseradish
Grind of salt
Grind of pepper
Squeeze of lemon
Mix well, serve over ice with stalk of celery.
If that's too much effort,
Nice throw Kenjisan
that was a strike
better not bite us...
Weaver sure does like the middle of the plate.
Why does everyone say
is it just me, or does this feel...
Fifty minutes, two innings
I tuned into the Yankees vs. Blue Jays game

I call bullshit on that.
Congrats to Bonds.
Now back to Justin Upton and his awesomeness.
How do you figure...
Never have liked Bonds, never will. Honestly, glad it is over, because I was getting tired of hearing about it. I wish he had pulled something or worse...
Honestly, if he had just gotten a hit, I would have just never picked up the ball. Just told him to run around the bases, he can have it.
Fine...
I was much more happy to see Rose beat Cobb's record, or Henderson get the steals record. I even didn't care about Ripken's record, because I didn't like Ripken.
Yes, because I said if you don't cheer for
Totally understand your post...
Guess I am just a fan of my brother throwing a little white ball...
and sitting for 3 hours watching 8 guys stand around, while one other guy throws the little white sphere, all the while some other guy swings a stick made of wood hoping to hit said sphere...

Bonds is an awesome talent
As far as the Angels go...still hate 'em.
This actually happened...
Bert McCracken: "Is everybody sick of 'The Man'?!?! I want everyone here to tell 'The Man' how the really feel...
On the count of 3 scream 'FUCK CHARLES BARKLEY!!!'"
//Everyone in the crowd looks at one another, quite confused...
Bert: "1....2...3..."
Most everyone: "FUCK CHARLES BARKLEY!!!"
It was surreal. I'm still confused about it.
