Hahahaha, that actually works
(albeit very temporarily)

Jeff - san diego cable
Wayyyyyyy off topic, but do you have Time Warner Cable by any chance?  If so, do you know if the Padres HD station works on cable card?

Thank God Raul didn't have the biggest
contribution. Then the team would keep him in the line... oh, never mind, they already would and they don't read about advanced stats like this.
ADRIAN BELTRE HURTS THIS TEAM WITH HIS OUTLANDISH CONTRACT WHEN COMPARED WITH SEXSON'S REASONABLE ONE.

So Raul did the worst possible thing for the team
yesterday.  He had two doubles (One that Lofton probably should've caught), therefore, he'll be the starting LF till 2018 now.  Adam Jones will probably kill himself out of anger.

I'm sure you mean
for the long run, but I have a hard time believing a guy did the worst possible thing for the team but raking 2 doubles in a game the M's should have won.

What is Raul thinking?
The team is united in a group effort to suck at hitting.

Raul = not a team player. >:(

Beltre
didn't get the memo on being a team player either... those two should be taken out back and taught a good strong lesson!

:)

Leone
is not a major league third baseman.. never was .. never will be... anyone that strikesout 150 times in a minor league season will never amount to anything, especially when you strikeout out that much in High A ball....

(does that bring back any "DM" memories for you Jeff?)

by MfaninAlaska on Jul 26, 2007 2:55 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

well that much is true
he doesn't hit Major League pitching... he either obliterates it, or he misses it completely. heh

You can't, I don't think.
They have to be hosted on another site like Photobucket.

I'd walk you through it
because I had problems with it at first as well, but my new employer doesn't let me get to Photobucket so I can't do it from here.  I'll take a look when i get home.

You're wrong! A dog will never let you down. A good pooch will follow you through Hell and high water. There are some ladies that look like pooches. With a little training... XD

Sigh
I'm going to the game tonight.  I wish I thought that meant the Mariners would win, but I'll be with my friends at Stitch'n'Pitch, so I'm not sure whether it'll work.

deanna...
have fun at the Pitch and Stitch....went last year.....amazing to see so many knitters in one place and watch the infinite numbers of ways to attach that yarn with needles....it was a hoot.
Hopefully, also, it'll bring luck to the team to have so much creative energy there.....

by gblady on Jul 26, 2007 4:54 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

this was my third SNP
I've been at all of them since the start.

this year I even actually knitted!

maybe that's why they lost.
