Was at the game tonight
God that game was fucking sweet as hell.
One of the funnest games i've ever been to
Seriously, though, Seatown did me proud. We turned "Let's go Red Sox" into "Let's go Red Sux" and then "Let's go Mariners".
People were amped.
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM(QUIST FUNK BLAST WTF???)
by Bigfoot Hunter on Jun 26, 2007 11:23 PM PDT reply actions
I spent most of the 8th and 9th
What a game to go to
Red Soxs fans are a bunch of homos. every since 2004 for when they've been winning for the first time in the history of baseball or winning. Go root for a real team you fucking homos.
I was bummed Lester didn't start. And it was unfortunate that the M's already used up next month's walk allotment tonight. But we won and I caught my first flyball at a game ever (it only took twenty years) and I almost snagged another from above Red Sox fan dad and had I caught I would have given it to a little kid in Mariners gear on the other side of me just to let the other dad and kid rethink their rooting choices more carefully from now on
oh yeah

Last story of my game experience, I promise.
well, I just got home
I love how the Mariners can't help but win when I go to the stadium. :)
There was a girl on the bus on the way home who was wearing a Red Sox shirt and was unable to remember who Johnny Damon was. She was all like "There was that guy I used to like.. you know... the one with the beard, like a caveman... what was his name? Damion something?"
I didn't slap her, but maybe I should have.
I can't tell what's better luck

Apparently if he ever sees me in the stands my "Goose is cooked".
the picture you put up is hilarious...
challenge to manhood or offer of fellatio?

And lastly, Rotoworld's still funny
"Then the Red Sox trotted out their worst relievers one-by-one. Perhaps the most incredible moment of the season so far came in the sixth. Lefty specialist Javier Lopez, in his second inning of work having already given up a two-run homer to Richie Sexson, intentionally walked the only left-handed hitter in Seattle's lineup (Ichiro) before being removed from the game. That it worked out hardly made it any less bizarre. Judging from Lopez's presence in the contest in the first place, we can only assume that Joel Pineiro passed away last week and no one bothered to alert the media."
Then talking about Joel:
"Joel Pineiro has been unavailable the last two days because he rolled an ankle working out on Monday.
So it wasn't his time after all."
Holy Crap, Bavasi is responsible for the funk?
http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/04/04/100spo_c05marinernotes001.cfm
Best move Bavasi's ever made.
We should fire his ass AFTER the season, not ASAP.
Off topic, but Ray Allen refers to Seattle as
Allen was traded from Milwaukee to Seattle in 2003 and said the past 4½ years was like "being in the doldrums." But now he's so excited to be back in the Northeast.
