without seeing the name "Kevin Jarvis" again. Oh, and I remember Brian Sweeney picking off (I think) Jason Giambi (then an Athletic) at second base. That ruled. Then we traded him.

Addition to Decent/Good Mariners List

Dave Hansen was hitting .282 in 2004 when we traded him off at the deadline. I think that, in fairness, that qualifies him as decent. When we got him back in 2005, he sucked. Therefore, I think that he should probably be on both lists.

The throw to the plate will be... LATE! The Mariners are going to play for the American League Championship! It just continues! My Oh My!

Well

there have been more transactions than should have to be counted between the teams.

Willie Bloomquist and Mike Hargrove suck. Horacio Ramirez doesn't suck but is way worse than Soriano.

Besides...

he was a six-year FA this year and signed with some other team, only to be minor league rule 5ed by a different team...

If we're counting Falcon, a rule 5 pickup, we might as well count Darwin Soto too, and I think Billy Hogan was in there somewhere even though he never played one game in our system.

Mike Cameron

The Padres and the Cardinals are like kids who's parents desperately want them to play together even though they don't have much in common besides going to the same school.

However... Cameron worked out pretty well for us. Sorry about that Ben Davis thing. At least he was tall with chiseled looks.
