Minor League Wrap-Up: 9/17/05

South Bend shut out Wisconsin in the Game Five showdown, 4-0. Well, it was a less than stellar ending to a great season turned in by the T-Rats. While Cibney Bello wasn't destroyed, he was no match for Steven Jackson who silenced the Wisconsin bats all day. Jackson didn't allow an XBH and struck out nine and when that happens, there is nothing Bello can do. For what it's worth, Bello did strike out eight, so he can ride that high into next season. That ends the Mariners' minor league playoffs.
