In Depth Analysis: My Feelings Regarding Olivo/Wells/Figgins.
-----------------------------------
Come on, you didn't really believe that in-depth part did you? Read the username of the person who's posting this again.
No, this post instead represents a ficticious wish-fulfillment fantasy; kind of like Twilight for men, but with better actors. In this scene, I'm John Cusack from High Fidelity and Jack Z (or whoever is responsible for Olivo being back in the lineup, Wells going down and Figgins staying put) is Tim Robbins.
The new dialog goes as follows:
Ride the Apocalypse: Can I help you?
Jack Z: Hello, Ride. Remember me? Jack...Jack Z. I thought maybe we should talk, sort things out.
Ride the Apocalyse: What needs sorting out?
Jack Z: Ten posts about your hate for me or Wedge a night, ordering pizzas to my house...
Ride the Apocalypse: I've stopped all that now.
Jack Z: You were flagging GIFs last night.
Jack Z: Obviously, I know the struggles Olivo has had. I would hate it if he's a lost cause.
[Jack Z gets a beep on his pager]
Jack Z: Guess who? Haha.
Jack Z: But, I'd like to believe that if I were you and I didn't like the General Manager's decisions, I would respect them. You know what I'm saying, chief?
Ride the Apocalypse: Yeah.
Jack Z: So, should we leave it that, then?
Ride the Apocalypse: I've already left it...
[The rest of the scene proceeds exactly as originally scripted, until the last line of dialog]
Jack Z: Think about it, Ride.
