Sporcle Fridays: Mariner catchers after Dan Wilson

Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

This is a seriously impressive list. Since Dan the Man retired, the Mariners have had more than their fair share of catchers along the way, eternally searching for the next franchise player to man the staff for a decade plus. Maybe Mike Zunino is that guy, but there's been plenty of misgivings along the way.

Just to make sure you don't get too optimistic about the current stretch of good baseball the Mariners are playing, enjoy recalling all of the busts and cups of coffee the Mariners have seen since 2006. Dan Wilson played until 2005, and that seems a lot more recent than it feels.

If you can name everyone from 2013, then you've mastered about half the quiz.
