The Mariners are looking for a win against the Twins in order to squash this four-game losing streak and hopefuly get some momentum going into the rest of the road trip. Thankfully, with the King on the mound, they'll have part of their work cut out for them.
The Mariners bats will be facing Twins right-hander Ricky Nolasco, who has had a bit of a rough going so far in his ninth season in the bigs so far. Nolasco's bad luck could be due for some regression, however, as he's put up a career-high .355 BABIP on the season so far with his highest HR/FB ever. You know how that story always seems to go with the Mariners.

For Franklin rumors, check out these tweets from Shannon Drayer:
McClendon on Franklin in the OF "We need offense, he's an option. If he's going to be here right now, he's going to have to move around."— Shannon Drayer (@shannondrayer) May 18, 2014
McClendon also said Franklin has had back issues. Has talked with Zduriencik about a move- want him healthy and able to play mult positions— Shannon Drayer (@shannondrayer) May 18, 2014
