We're stuck in a quandary. The Royals, along with the Pirates are this year's reminders that hope exists for the hopeless and it's easy to use them as a keyhole through which to observe and experience guilt-free excitement at the end of the season. On the other hand, there is Grass Creek, which is sacred. The Mariners are 1-3 against the Royals and only a sweep returns control of the sacred land to it's rightful owners.
It sucks to have to crush the dreams of a fellow have-not but we didn't create Grass Creek, it was simply given to us by the dinosaur warlocks that ruled back in those days. But it remains ours and therefore, Royals, you must be destroyed. It's not personal, it's just right. You must die.
