In the wide spectrum of ways that people choose to identify or define love there's one that always rings true for me: Love is what you do. By this I state that should you be watching tonight's Mariners game you are an amazing person capable of a love so deep it can move mountains. There will come a time when the Mariners will love you back and shower you with enjoyment through winning. But in that state of bliss I challenge you'll never love the team more than you choose to tonight, when you watch Jeremy Bonderman toil away against the Yankees on a dark June evening. I salute you and your immense capacity to love something unworthy of such care.
